This free Rhythm Towers Demo drops you into Planet Rhapsody with a short in-game tutorial and three playable levels, each built around a different musical genre and increasingly challenging enemy waves. It is designed to give you a strong feel for the core loop quickly, from early tower placement decisions to late-wave pressure.
Build and upgrade musical towers that double as weaponised instruments, add layers to the evolving soundtrack as you play, and match your timing to the beat to strengthen your defences and attacks. Play solo or with a friend in the couch co-op Duet Mode, experiment with different tower combinations, dash and defend to the beat, and see how your strategy shifts across each level theme. The demo is updated regularly with new content, features, and fixes, and you can read the full breakdown in the Rhythm Towers Demo Updates blog post and share feedback in our community spaces.

"At a glance, this mix of genres (think Guitar Hero meets Tower Defense) sounds weird, but it ended up being pretty fun. Regarding enemy types - I'd prefer time pausing and a full screen notice to come up in order to read what new enemy is coming in. Looking forward to more songs and a future full release."

"I'm going to buy it as soon as I can, and it's a shame the other person didn't change their 1-star rating when you solved their problem... But anyway... I hope my rating helps boost the reputation of your awesome game ✌️"

"Rhythm Towers goes hard. Super polished demo — I legit thought it was a full release and tried to buy it. Tower defense meets rhythm game in the best way possible. Dropping towers changes the music, and it all flows together like you're DJ-ing a battlefield. Visuals are stylish, the alien pop band story is weird in a good way, and the soundtrack absolutely slaps. Perfect game to chill with after work. Can't wait for the full release."

"Rhythm Towers is easily one of the most fun and engaging rhythm games I've ever played. What makes it truly stand out is its incredible variety — from the diverse music tracks to the beautifully designed buildings and vibrant world, everything feels alive and exciting. The music is absolutely electrifying. It's so energetic and catchy that you'll find yourself wanting to keep playing just to hear more. The game has such a strong heartbeat that you might literally find yourself dancing — even though there's no camera watching you!"

"This game is awesome, but it takes a bit to get into the "rhythm" of it. I have played my fair share of rhythm games (PaRappa the Rapper + Crypt of the Necrodancer) and tower defense games in the past (Anomaly + Plant vs. Zombie + Clash Royale), and it is so good to see a fresh take on the formula with so much heart and love put into it."

"There aren't a lot of modern or new takes in either the tower defence or rhythm genres so the idea to combine them alone is great! That aside, the game has a really interesting visual style, innovative gameplay and as expected the music hits hard! Lots of potential here."

"Rhythm Towers is hands down the best demo I've ever played. The game combines stunning visuals with a truly unique concept, blending rhythm-based mechanics seamlessly with strategic tower defense. The gameplay is fresh, addictive, and accompanied by an incredible soundtrack that keeps you hooked. I highly recommend giving this a try!"

"A tower defense with rhythm-like gameplay? It works. I had fun. This could go viral if it get the right recognition and exposure. The demo was flawless for me btw. A bit too fast paced for me at points, but otherwise fair. Keep it up!"
