Last updated: June 4th, 2021

Important Note: This Privacy Policy is not an official nor legally vetted Privacy Policy. We are working on drafting a proper/legalese/incomprehensible version of the below. In the meantime, please accept our good faith attempt in explaining what information we collect when using our website and what we use it for.

Hello, thanks for visiting our website. One of the main priorities while developing this website was protecting the privacy of our visitors, people just like you. This means that we had to be mindful when choosing who to partner with for hosting our content, handling our Newsletter and doing any kind of website analytics.

This Privacy Policy describes what type of information we collect and how we use it. This Privacy Policy applies to pages hosted on our website, accessible at and is valid for visitors to that website only. This Privacy Policy is not applicable to any external third-party websites that are linked to from here.

What information we collect and what we use it for

When you visit our website

We use website analytics to understand how our website is performing, how people use it and where we should focus our efforts when trying to improve it. A simple example would be, if we learn that most of our visitors browse our website from their smartphone, we would consider focussing our efforts on making our website look/perform better for visitors on those devices. Or perhaps we start receiving a large portion of engaged and active visitors from Brazil, we might consider having our game and website translated into Portuguese to cater to that audience. Website analytics makes these decisions a lot easier and prevents us from wasting time optimizing or improving areas that do not need them, but we do not want to invade your privacy while doing this.

We use Plausable for our website analytics. Plausible is a lightweight and open-source website analytics tool. No cookies and fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA and PECR. Made and hosted in the EU. You may read the Plausible Data Policy for more details.

The information that is collected for our website analytics is limited to:

  • The address of the page you are currently viewing. E.g.
  • The address of the page that referred you here. E.g.
  • The name of your web browser. E.g. Chrome
  • The name of the operating system of your device. E.g. Windows
  • The type of device you are using. E.g. Desktop
  • The name of the country that you are visiting from. E.g. United Kingdom

We don't use cookies, we don't generate any persistent identifiers and we don't collect or store any personal or identifiable data. All of the data that we do collect is aggregated data only and it has no personal information. Our website analytics are publicly available to anyone who is interested, you can look at them here: Rhythm Towers Website Analytics.
